WHO ARE YOU, WHERE ARE YOU FROM, & WHAT DO YOU DO?
Hello! I am Katareena Neuberger. Originally I am from Sparks, Nevada. I am an Army Veteran turn military spouse so I’ve spent a little time all over the place.
I make comfy, cozy, SOFT clothing for little ones. I specialize in babies and toddlers sizes, but also make items for bigger kids upon request.

DESCRIBE YOUR PROCESS.
The fabric chooses me, I don’t choose the fabric. As soon as I see a print that I fall in love with I immediately start thinking of all the different and creative things I can make with it.
Everything I make is made with soft, stretchy, high quality fabrics.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
My son. He’s so supportive and always loves everything I make – even if its not for him. Seeing him get excited about my latest creation is my drive to make the next thing.

FUN FACT ABOUT YOU.
I owned my first sewing machine for 18 years before I ever used it. Now I can’t imagine life without it.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT DOWNTOWN AUGUSTA.
I love the historic and old buildings. Something that isn’t as common where I’m from.

WHY DO YOU LOVE TO DESIGN, CREATE + MAKE?
When I finish an item I feel immeasurably proud of myself every single time. Even if I made mistakes along the way. Even if I got frustrated. Even if it went perfectly without a single bump.

WHAT IS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU WOULD SHARE WITH OTHER ARTISTS + MAKERS?
No matter if it’s your first time making something or you 100th, remember that it’s okay to make mistakes. It’s all apart of the process and as long as you felt creative & had fun, that’s all that matters.
