I had dye fabrics using USA grown and processed Indigo and other foraged plant dyes. I take these fabrics and create products that can be used everyday. I create functional art.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
My mother, there wasn’t anything she couldn’t do. She was wife, mother, nurse, grandmother, great grandmother, painter, sewist, could-knot,crochet, embroider, quilt, crewel worker, baker, chef, vocalist!
FUN FACT ABOUT YOU.
I am a distant relative of Eliza Lucas Pinckney that brought Indigo to SC in the mid 1700s. I was born in the Mojave Desert

WHY DO YOU LOVE TO DESIGN, CREATE + MAKE?
I really can’t explain it! I love to see an idea come to fulruition and then the joy when someone purchases the perfect piece for themselves or for someone they love!
