I’m Kim, and while not a native of Augusta, this is home now. I started my business in 2007 and have loved every second of it. The business started with French memory boards and in the years following I have added hair accessories, magnets, pet items, and now painted coasters. I’m not a fan of knickknacks so my goal has always been to make things that are beautiful as well as functional.

WHY DO YOU LOVE TO DESIGN, CREATE + MAKE?
Almost everything I have made has been out of a necessity, whether a customer’s or my own. I like finding a way to make an item better to suit my needs. I do a lot of custom orders and I love putting together the colors that a customer wants.

WHAT IS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU WOULD SHARE WITH OTHER ARTISTS + MAKERS?
Art is subjective. Just because one person doesn’t like your work doesn’t mean it isn’t good.
