WHO ARE YOU, WHERE ARE YOU FROM, & WHAT DO YOU DO?
I am a mom of 4 currently residing near Savannah, GA. I crochet all kinds of things but mostly stuffed animals.

DESCRIBE YOUR PROCESS.
I crochet and sew together pieces to create adorable stuffed animals, baskets, scarves, bags, and blankets.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
Color is my biggest inspiration! I love to walk down an aisle of yarn and pick out a hot pink for an anteater, or a soft green for a baby’s alligator. Making animals that you don’t normally see in stores is a passion, and making animals in colors that you wouldn’t expect makes me the happiest!

FUN FACT ABOUT YOU.
I love to spend lazy days walking under the oak trees with Spanish moss blowing in the breeze.

WHY DO YOU LOVE TO DESIGN, CREATE + MAKE?
When I am making my crochet stuffed animals or any of the other crafts I do, I just feel at peace and happy.

WHAT IS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU WOULD SHARE WITH OTHER ARTISTS + MAKERS?
My oldest tells me I say this too much but… You have to practice and keep at it if you want to get better.

I learned how to crochet from my grandmother and great grandmother. Though they are no longer with me I think they would be proud of what I am making.
