WHO ARE YOU, WHERE ARE YOU FROM, & WHAT DO YOU DO?
I’m Caroline from North Augusta. I’m a work from home Mom to my incredible young son, who is also quite the mini crafter!

I grew up loving crafts and art as an only child, and when a career change came during 2020 I chose to start a small business making laser engraved pet portraits. I eventually evolved to incorporate many home decor items and gifts made of wood and acrylic.

DESCRIBE YOUR PROCESS.
I design all my original art digitally and then send the design to my CO2 laser that either cuts or engraves my design onto my material.

WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
Helping others.
I created Giving Tree to be a way to give back to others and pay it forward. 10% of all sales are donated to charities that I rotate though such as The SAFE project, St. Jude, Alzheimer’s research, Breast Cancer Research, etc.

FUN FACT ABOUT YOU.
If I had to choose between cheese and chocolate, I would choose cheese.

WHY DO YOU LOVE TO DESIGN, CREATE + MAKE?
I feel closer to my Grandmother and Father who have passed away and who inspire my creative side. I also love seeing the look on people’s faces when they see a custom piece I have created for them.

WHAT IS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU WOULD SHARE WITH OTHER ARTISTS + MAKERS?
Go with the flow, and focus on building relationships, not sales.
